Light Shine features handcrafted clay and resin jewelry designed to encourage and inspire. Founded in 2016, we are a woman-owned, faith-based small business based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Jen, the owner and artist behind Light Shine, personally creates every piece of jewelry. Inspired by Matthew 5:16 ("In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."), it’s our hope that each piece serves as a reminder for you to let your light shine as you wear your handcrafted jewelry.
Our pieces are lightweight, nickel-free, and designed to be everyday statement accessories. Each one is a unique, wearable work of art, ranging from beautiful neutrals to bold, colorful showpieces.

Before Light Shine, I worked as an interior designer and created large-scale paintings for our clients. This season of my life brought many blessings, including a fun opportunity to co-design and create art for Vin Diesel’s condo while he was in Pittsburgh filming a movie!
But God was beginning to stir in me ideas and a mission that would later become Light Shine. At the time, I didn’t know how to make jewelry or apply to art events—I simply knew I had a desire to reach more people through my art and to encourage others by sharing my faith.
In 2016, I started experimenting with painting on polymer clay. I researched different techniques and eventually focused on working with alcohol inks, sealing the pieces with resin. After many failed attempts and a lot of practice, I finally developed a product that was ready to sell!
Eight years later, here we are—selling online, in over 30 stores across the country, and having participated in hundreds of in-person events. I’m so incredibly grateful for the Lord’s guidance every step of the way. He has provided and led me to do this as a living. Thank you for being a part of this journey!
